I Photographed a Whole Wedding with Canon's 50mm 1.8!

Before you get mad and say "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?! YOU TOOK MONEY FROM THIS COUPLE AND SHOT IT ON A CHEAP @$$ LENS?!"

Well actually I just tagged along and second shot/shadowed the main photographer.

I have always wanted to show people that gear doesn't matter and this is a great case to show you guys. Granted the camera body is that of a Canon 1DX but still, people always rave about having all types of glass for certain situations.

So yeah, I shot this whole wedding from front to back with just 1 focal length and 1 camera body, everything from the getting ready photos to the dancing at the reception. It was definitely a challenge to say the least.

Shooting at 1 focal length alone was already a hill that needed a lot of climbing. I had to get proper angles, position myself perfectly to have enough distance between myself and the subject and lets not forget about the tracking and slow focusing. But, as the day went on I got more and more comfortable with this 1 lens. It pushed me to step outside of my comfort zone of having a wide spectrum of lenses. The lens may only be ~100 bucks but the images are definitely worth more than that. Take a look at the photos below and let me know what you think.
